The Gateway is the perfect start for your genealogy research. It is perfect for those who have always wanted to do genealogy but have not known where to start or do not have the time.
The Gateway is an introductory service, no-frills just the facts, priced to be affordable at half the cost of our regular hourly rate. With The Gateway, we will do a preliminary but definitive search for your relatives and put them onto your family tree. This will be the blueprint that we can go back to and expand upon for further research. If you have always wanted to know who you’re related to but did not know where to start or the cost seemed too much, then this is the way to go.
What comes with The Gateway?
Beginning Research
We will open and start a tree for you on a genealogical site adding information to the tree. The tree is yours to come back to or add to at a later time. The beginning service is $40 an hour. This does not include any additional services such as copies. Those can be added for additional costs.
More Advanced Research
This service is offered at $55 dollars an hour. We will build your tree as stated above, on a genealogical site adding research to your tree. However, we will also look at other databases besides the one for your family history as well as place phone calls and letters to gather more information.
In The Gateway, all copies are extra. Additional expenses can always come up but they are always discussed before being charged. The Gateway is the perfect start and budget-friendly option if you would like to research your family history but would like to keep things simple and on a budget.
